The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star is preparing to return to New York ahead of her impending court date.
Until next time, Los Angeles!
Newly single Luann de Lesseps is preparing to say buh-bye (for now) to her time in sunny Los Angeles, but not before enjoying a delicious "healthy breakfast."
In a Boomerang posted to her Instagram on Tuesday, the Real Housewives of New York City star can be seen shaking it for the camera in her hotel room at the London West Hollywood -- showing off her fit physique in a sexy white string bikini.
“Suite Breakfast @thelondonweho gunna be hard to leave this sunny 80 degree beautiful weather…it ain’t a la francaise,” wrote the 52-year-old reality star of the two-person place setting, adding several hashtags including "#healthylifestyle #yogabody #westcoast #healthybreakfast."
The mother of two is returning to the chilly New York temps, just ahead of her April 13 court date in which she faces possible jail time for a series of charges stemming from her Dec. 24 arrest in Palm Beach, Florida. As a result, de Lesseps was charged with a felony for resisting an officer with violence and received misdemeanor charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication.
While speaking with ET’s Nischelle Turner last week, she opened up about the incident and how she's since changed her lifestyle for the better.
“If I had just gone to the right hotel room, it would have just changed everything, but I didn't, and there was a reason why it happened to me,” said de Lesseps, who rejected a plea deal in February. “It really taught me a lot about myself.”
That's when "Money Can't Buy You Class" singer opted to go to rehab, adding that the "embarrassing" experience was a total "out-of-control moment."
“So, that's when I decided to go to rehab and address the issues I was having in my life, because I just felt like it was an out-of-control moment for me, and I don't like to be out of control,” she continued. “It was very embarrassing and all I can say is that it changed my life in such a way now. I just feel like so much more control and happier.”
De Lesseps admitted that prior to her arrest, she “was definitely self-medicating" with alcohol in response to her divorce from Tom D'Agostino.
“I was using alcohol to numb myself, and now that I’m aware of that, I don’t foresee that I am going to have this problem again,” she shared, adding that she’s currently sober. “Right now, I’m just not into drinking, because I feel so much happier without it.”
"Thank god for yoga and my music,” she expressed.
The reality star also credits her "cabaret show" for helping her through, noting that it "has been the most incredible therapy." She added that her RHONY co-stars were also instrumental in helping her navigate the painful situation.
“I heard from all the women after I got arrested, and they were all very supportive, and I needed that,” she said. “I went through a lot of pain, so the last thing I needed was to be kicked while I was down.”
De Lesseps continued, “I think that people are looking at me now and going, ‘Wow. She just, like, fell down the staircase and she got back out and she's climbing again.’ And that's how I feel about my life. I feel like I'm taking control of my life again, and unfortunately I had to go to that extent to turn my life around."
Season 10 of RHONY airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. For more on de Lesseps' arrest, watch the video below.
