Chelsea and Jimmy never made it to the altar on season 6 of 'Love Is Blind.'
Chelsea Blackwell is speaking her truth! After getting barely any screen time during the season 6 reunion of Love Is Blind, the Netflix star took to multiple podcasts to share her side of the story and her engagement to Jimmy Presnell.
Chelsea spoke about her more viral moments from the season on the Scrubbing In With Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad podcast, specifically the pod scene where she shared that people have previously compared her to actress Megan Fox.
"That is my biggest regret. I didn't care that I cried. I didn't care the I was emotional. None of that mattered," Chelsea said. "What mattered was the stinking comment that flipped my whole world upside-down. So, regrets!"
Chelsea added that she often forgot the camera crews were there, joking, "I felt so bad for the cameramen. They were like, 'Oh my god, did she just say that?'"
She noted that normally she's a very confident person, but explained, "I was in this relationship that I had no security in."
As for the current status of her relationship with Jimmy, she teased that there might be a "situationship" going on with her ex.
"No, we're not [together]," she said. "We're just kind of… hanging out."
"Are there benefits in the hanging out?" one of the co-hosts asked.
"Yeah, he's a great friend," Chelsea replied, laughing.
"So you're not technically in a relationship, but you're not, not seeing each other?" another co-host clarified.
"Yeah, that's a great way to put it," Chelsea said.
However, during an appearance on Tuesday's episode of The Viall Files podcast with Nick Viall, Chelsea didn't hint at any potential romance with Jimmy.
"We are just friends. There is absolutely nothing going on," she insisted. "I've seen what I needed to see. I've been told 'no' multiple times so I'm not doing that crap again."
Chelsea also shared that she didn't anticipate the backlash she's received this season, claiming, "I thought I was gonna be dragged for staying with him. And it ended up being the complete opposite…This whole time I was preparing myself for, 'OK, people are going to just drag your a** for not listening to the sounds and seeing the signs that this guy did not like you.'"
Chelsea admitted that she missed the red flags in her relationship, saying, "I was seeing our relationship with these rose-tinted glasses. I was just seeing what I wanted to see and hoping it would get better, but it never did."
As for Jimmy's edit on the show, Chelsea said her ex "got lucky" with how Netflix made things look.
"He was so worried about his edit, and I was preparing him for how to navigate that," Chelsea claimed. "Which, I don't know. I'm new here. I don't know what to do with my hands. I did not expect."
Chelsea continued to insist that Jimmy was, in fact, going out more than was shown or even more than they talked about on camera.
Ultimately, Jimmy called things off days before the pair were set to go to the altar. And while they tried dating for four days after their split, the two called it quits.
All six seasons of Love Is Blind are currently streaming on Netflix.
