The 'Royals' songstress is close pals with Taylor Swift, who has a rocky relationship with the rapper.

Lorde pays tribute to Kanye West in his hometown!

The 21-year-old singer performed an a cappella version of the rapper's hits, "Love Lockdown" and "Runway," during her concert in Chicago, Illinois, on Tuesday. Dressed in a black skirt and matching long-sleeve crop top, Lorde beautifully belted out a mini rendition of the 808s & Heartbreak track as the crowd cheered along.

During the second Kanye song she covered, the New Zealand native perfectly incorporated her song "Liability" into the mix.

While Lorde is good friends with Taylor Swift, who has a rocky relationship with the rapper, she's always expressed her admiration for Yeezy. This also isn't the first time she's sung a Kanye song. She first covered "Runaway" during her 2017 Coachella performance and also did "Hold My Liquor" during her show in New Zealand in 2013.

Additionally, it seems like more people are missing Kanye. Charli XCX, Swift's upcoming tour opener, tweeted "I miss Kanye," on Wednesday.

Swift and Kanye may not be on the friendliest terms but this past weekend they both expressed their support on the March for Our Lives protests.

Meanwhile, last month Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, threw some shade at Swift by adding her to her Valentine's Day "haters" section.

See below to hear what she said.
