'Little People, Big World' Season Finale: Zach Says 'Time May Even Out' Relationship With Dad Matt (Exclusive)

The season finale of 'Little People, Big World' airs Tuesday on TLC.

As another season of Little People, Big World comes to an end, Zach Roloff is getting reflective about the place he once called home, and the status of his strained relationship with his father, Matt Roloff.

In an exclusive clip from Tuesday's finale episode, Zach sits in a confessional and recounts the memories he made on the Roloff family farm and how his and Tori Roloff's children, Jackson, Lilah and Josiah, won't have the same experience.

"The farm was part of my life, and it's not going to be part of our kids' lives the same way it was mine," he says while clips from his childhood and of his kids run in the background.

Zach and his family have moved away, and set up their own home in Battleground, Washington, after he Matt had a falling out when they couldn't come to a resolve on the sale of a portion of the family farm to Zach and Tori.

Despite barely speaking with his father, and not visiting the farm, Zach says that he isn't angry or holding any resentment. Life has just simply moved on for him and his family -- away from the farm.

"No one's holding grudges, no one's intentionally not going to the farm," Zach says. "There's just no interest. The kids don't ask, nothing we're hiding from them, it's just they don't ask and they have their own space up here."

After not addressing his and his father's issues, Zach finally speaks out and says that there is hope for them to reconcile, but their relationship will never be the same.

"When it comes to my dad, that ship has all sailed. There's not much of a relationship, just doing our own thing," he says. "Time might even it out, but everything will be healed, it just, it will be different."

This season, Zach and Tori focused on raising their children -- who have dwarfism like their father and grandparents -- while working through Zach's health issues. After the news of Matt's engagement to Karyn, Zach had no comment and rarely spoke about his father.

Matt has been vocal about not hearing from his son amid his good news, and voiced his frustrations when Zach and Tori missed the Dwarf Athletic Association of America fundraising event -- planned by Amy and hosted on the family farm -- due to a previously scheduled vacation.

In February, Zach and Tori revealed on their Raising Heights podcast that they will not be returning to the series -- which Zach has been a part of since 2006.

"We are done. That part of our lives, that chapter has closed," Tori proclaimed on the podcast.

Added Zach, "I think the chapter has closed regardless of us being asked back or not. This last cycle was rough between the family, the farm deal and we're done with that. We've moved on."

Before Zach and Tori's decision to move on from the series, Matt and Amy's other three children have all left the show over the years.
