The reality star's brother was found dead on April 30 in England of a suspected drug overdose.
Lisa Vanderpump is mourning her brother's death publicly for the first time, after posting two short messages on Instagram on Tuesday.
Her brother was found dead April 30 at his home in Gloucestershire, England. His death was suspected to have been due to a drug overdose, according to the Daily Mail, but it remains unclear whether it was intentional or accidental. Vanderpump at the time told the paper that it was a "shock to us all."
The reality show star's first social media post on his death on Instagram showed a picture of the two together at dinner.
"Rest In Peace big brother ?," she wrote next to the photo.
A second Instagram photo showed her in all black, riding her white stallion, Prince Tardon.
"It’s been a devastating couple of weeks... one day at a time..." she wrote beside the photo. "I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. Love Lisa xo ?"
Mark Vanderpump worked as a professional DJ in the U.K. and often spent time with his sister in Los Angeles, including at her restaurants. He had been struggling with personal problems in recent years, including a divorce from his wife of 22 years.
