Lindsay Lohan got some sweet messages from famous friends on her 38th birthday on July 2.
Lindsay Lohan just rang in her 38th birthday, and the actress felt the love from some of her famous friends and former co-stars.
On Tuesday, the Irish Wish star took to Instagram to share a message in honor of her special day, writing, "Another trip around the sun... grateful for every moment and cherishing every second of everyday and all of the beautiful things life has to offer."
Lohan added that she is "feeling blessed" and thanked her friends and fans for "all of the lovely birthday wishes."
Lohan shared a smiling selfie for the post, which featured her wearing a birthday tiara covered in candles.
Among the many well-wishes and kind words in the comments under the post, one that stood out came from actor Dennis Quaid, who famously starred as Lohan's father in the 1998 family comedy The Parent Trap.
"Happy birthday. I hope you had a wonderful day Lindsay," Quaid, 70, remarked.
Lohan also shared some of the kind messages she got on her birthday to her Instagram Stories, including one from The Parent Trap director Nancy Meyers, which included a throwback photo of their time on set.
She also reposted a celebratory message from her Irish Wish co-star Ayesha Curry, who commemorated Lohan's special day with a cute snapshot of them smiling for the camera.
Lohan gave birth to her son, Luai, whom she shares with her husband, Bader Shammas, last July, and a rep for Lohan confirmed in February that Ayesha and her husband, NBA superstar Steph Curry, are godparents to Luai.
Lohan's big birthday comes just a few days after she and Jamie Lee Curtis shared a shot from the set of the upcoming Freaky Friday sequel, giving fans a first look at the long-awaited follow-up film.
Lohan also offered a few cryptic details about what's in store for her character in the upcoming sequel in an interview with Good Morning America.
"I can't say much, but I am taking guitar lessons, and I do have a daughter in the movie," she revealed. She added that it was "fantastic" to be back on set with Curtis, who has been supportive of her throughout the years.
