The upcoming Netflix film will be released on March 15.
It's happening again! Lindsay Lohan is returning to her romcom roots with the upcoming Netflix film, Irish Wish. The 37-year-old early aughts queen is back, playing Maddie Kelly, a woman attending her best friend's wedding to the one that got away, Paul Kennedy (Alexander Vlahos).
LiLo's character makes a wish that she was actually the one marrying Paul and wakes up the next morning with him in her bed. As the magic works its way into her personal life, Maddie finds herself conflicted when it comes to her true feelings.
In the first trailer for the upcoming film, Lohan is giving off major Freaky Friday vibes as she finds herself living in a completely new reality. In 2003, Lohan starred opposite Jamie Lee Curtis in Freaky Friday as a mother-daughter duo who switch lives.
The movie also stars Ed Speleers playing James Thomas, who is seemingly another love interest for Maddie, as well as Ayesha Curry as Heather and Elizabeth Tan as Maddie's best friend, Emma Taylor.
Legendary TV star Jane Seymour also plays Lohan's mom, Rosemary Kelly.
After an A-list career as a child and teen star, LiLo took some time out of the spotlight for several years. She returned for the Netflix holiday film, Falling for Christmas, in 2022. She also made a brief cameo in this year's Mean Girls musical movie.
Irish Wish, which was directed by Janeen Damian, is set to be released March 15 on Netflix.
