'We couldn't be more excited that our little cub is a baby girl!' Lindsay Hubbard shared of her baby.
It's a girl!
While Lindsay Hubbard is still keeping her boyfriend's identity a secret, she couldn't wait to share the sex of her baby. The Summer House star, 37, took to Instagram twice to celebrate her surprise gender reveal.
In a video Hubbard posted on Saturday, she walks into her hotel room before gasping and stopping in her tracks. In front of her were pink balloons and flowers.
"Stop! What! No! We're having a girl!" Hubbard shouts with excitement before dropping her things and covering her agape mouth. "Oh my God!"
"🩵🎀🐳💕👕👛🚙👙🦕💗🎽🩰?! This was truly the most special moment of my pregnancy!! 🥹" Hubbard captioned her post.
She continued, "My boyfriend found out the gender first, and then revealed it to me in the sweetest way while we were traveling in Europe. We left Milan on June 9th and took a car to Lake Maggiore. He organized ahead of time for the hotel to set up our room with flowers and balloons to surprise me with when we walked in. It is hard to surprise me, but not only did he pull it off, he crushed it! 🥰 We couldn't be more excited that our little cub is a baby girl! 🎀."
On Monday, Hubbard shared more moments from the sweet gender reveal on Instagram.
"Still not over this moment 🌸🎀👛🩷🌺," she wrote.
In one video, Hubbard is still in awe of her pink-themed room at Hotel Eden Roc. "I just threw everything on the floor because I was not expecting to walk into that," Hubbard says as she picks up her bag and sunglasses. "Wow."
Pictures shared feature close-ups of the pink floral arrangements and balloons, as well as champagne for Hubbard's baby daddy.
Hubbard announced that she's expecting a baby on the Fourth of July, more than a year after her engagement to her Summer House co-star, Carl Radke, came to an end.
Shortly thereafter, Hubbard posted a life update on Instagram, which included a photo with her mystery man. Though his face was obscured with a brown heart emoji, Hubbard revealed that he accompanied her to a wedding in Portugal.
When some fan sites then identified Hubbard's boyfriend, who she previously dated during the pandemic, Hubbard shared her reasoning for keeping his identity private.
Hubbard's statement was written over a fan account's post that read, "I'm aware Lindsay's boyfriends [sic] identity has been made public online. While we painted a picture of who he was we never reveal names, employment etc [sic] of private people. If and when she posts him on her public insta then it's fair game. Until then we don't post info."
After thanking that account and others like it, Hubbard assured fans, "This is not about us being proud of each other or not. He is so beyond proud to be my boyfriend and father of my child, and vice versa. We are very much in love and have a beautiful relationship. This is about his work, his privacy, and the fact that it is not his job to be public like me."
Since then, Hubbard has been sharing baby bump pics and pregnancy updates.
Hubbard's pregnancy reveal came on the heels of the news that both she and Radke will return for Summer House's ninth season, which is currently in production.
