Lily Collins just took her romance with Charlie McDowell to the next level.
The 30-year-old actress went Instagram official with McDowell on Tuesday, posting several pictures of him in Paris. The couple sparked romance rumors after they were spotted together earlier this summer. McDowell, a 36-year-old writer and director, was rumored to have dated Emilia Clarke last year. Before that, he was linked to Rooney Mara and Haylie Duff.
Collins, who previously dated Jamie Campbell Bower and was romantically linked to Zac Efron, couldn't have looked happier to be with her new man. "Always got your back," she captioned a shot of herself cuddling up to McDowell on Tuesday.
The actress also shared a photo of McDowell at the Atelier des Lumières on her Instagram Story. "When he's only just left but it feels like forever…" she wrote. "I miss you already."
During a 2017 appearance on The Talk, Collins opened up about her love life, and how her parents, musician Phil Collins and socialite Jill Tavelman, have influenced her romances.
"I find that I’m really attracted to mysterious creatives, and I love people that are able to put their emotions out there for not just the world to see, but just that are giving of their emotions, but a little bit mysterious and elusive as well," she confessed.
"My mom is such a strong, independent, strong-willed woman and she always taught me to accept my worth for how I viewed myself and female empowerment, and it’s OK to be independent and also need someone at the same time," Collins said. "I kinda get to be both."
