Lenny Kravitz Stops Concert to Answer FaceTime Call From 'Brother' Denzel Washington

Lenny Kravitz had a mid-show break so he could show one of his longtime friends, Denzel Washington, some love.

Lenny Kravitz stopped one of his concerts so he could take an important phone call!

Over the weekend, the "American Woman" rocker took to Instagram to share the moment he got a call from his friend, Denzel Washington, while performing one his shows as part of his Blue Electric Light Tour.

"When your brother calls and you’re in the middle of a show. 🎥: @rossss_mia," the 60-year-old rocker captioned the moment.

In the video, Kravitz walked up to the mic while his phone in his hand, and informs the crowd of the call. "I'm sorry, my big brother just called me up on the phone to say hi," the "TK412" singer told the audience.

Kravitz walked around the stage, holding up his phone towards the crowd. Just in case anyone was confused with who was on the other side of the call, Kravitz told the concertgoers that it was in fact Washington.

"Y'all know Denzel Washington," he said as the crowd erupted in screams. Kravitz walked the phone to his camera man to give fans a closer look at the Oscar-winning actor, who was smiling and soaking up the moment.

"Alright brother, I love you, I'll call you later," Kravitz told his friend before hanging up.

Kravitz and Washington, 69, have been friends for over three decades. In March, the Training Day actor took the stage to pay tribute to his pal at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

"He's more than a friend, he's more than a brother, we're twins. We just don't look alike," Washington quipped about Kravitz. "God has blessed him with an unbelievable talent but even more so, an unbelievable heart."

Kravitz's Blue Electric Light Tour has been full of moments.

Earlier this month, he had a sweet experience with a fan while performing at the the Main Square Festival in Parc Cit'Loisirs, France.

In the video, the rock star goes off the stage and onto the barricades in front of the crowd to reach down and grab a young fan. After lifting her up, the "Fly Away" singer gave her a hug while swaying side-to-side as she sobbed into his arms. The crowd cheered on as his band played in the background.

"Let love rule. @mainsquarefestival 🎥: @rossss_mia," Kravitz captioned the clip.
