Larsa Pippen Reveals What Led to Her Recent Split From Marcus Jordan: 'I Gained Clarity'

Last week, ET exclusively reported Larsa was "done" with Marcus and the two called it quits.

Larsa Pippen is opening up about her recent breakup with Marcus Jordan, shedding light on her feelings and the reasons behind the split.

During a candid interview on the latest episode of the Amy & T.J. podcast with Amy Robach and T.J.Holmes, Pippen revealed that gaining clarity after wrapping up her latest show, House of Villains, and spending time alone prompted her realization that Marcus might not be the right fit for her at this moment in her life.

"You know, I feel like I just finished. I just wrapped up shooting the show, and I spent time away from him and everyone else. I was there for like two weeks, and it just kind of gave me clarity when I was alone," Pippen said during the podcast. And I think when you’re alone, you kind of really miss the person or you realize maybe you aren’t my guy, and that made me realize, I don’t think he’s my guy."

Despite acknowledging Marcus as a "great guy," Pippen emphasized that they're simply on different journeys. "I just think we are on a different journey and I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing. I want him to be happy, he’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me," she explained.

Addressing speculation that age was a factor in their breakup, Pippen dismissed the notion, stating, "I don’t think it’s the age; it’s just where we are right now."

When asked about her current relationship status, Pippen humorously declared herself, "Single and ready to mingle," although she admitted she's not quite ready to jump back into the dating scene just yet.

Reflecting on the aftermath of the breakup, Pippen acknowledged the difficulty of untangling her life from Marcus', particularly given their shared professional endeavors. "It’s hard sometimes to break up because you are so used to living with the person, we had our podcast together, we worked together, I had him on Housewives," she shared.

Despite the breakup, Pippen expressed optimism about the future, stating that her main priorities are her children, her business, and her own personal growth. She believes there's someone out there with whom she can "grow with."

Pippen also hinted at the possibility of maintaining a friendship with Marcus in the future, noting that they're currently on good terms. However, she emphasized the importance of focusing on herself and moving forward.

"Larsa realized this relationship is just not the one for her after spending some more time apart, filming a new show," a source told ET. "She wants to move on and focus on improving her life. They simply want different things out of life."

Despite the split, the source added that the relationship ended amicably, leaving open the possibility of maintaining a friendship in the future.

"Larsa wants more out of her partner, someone who is motivated like her," the source said.
