Landon Barker Drops Break-Up Song 'Over You' Following Split From Charli D'Amelio

The musician's new track comes just over a month after calling it quits with the TikTok star.

Landon Barker is opening his heart and his soul in his new music.

The 20-year-old rocker -- son of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler -- dropped a new track, "Over You," on Thursday, dealing with the pain of heartbreak and moving on after a failed romance.

The song is an emotional breakup tune, with lyrics like, "Can't bring myself to move on/ I miss you now that you're gone/ But I'll get over you."

In a press release issued Friday, Landon commented on the meaning of the new track, sharing, "Some people you will never get over until the day you die. 'Over You' is a break up song that relates to me personally, and I hope it resonates with you too."

The track comes just over a month after Landon revealed that he and Charli D'Amelio had called it quits, following a year-long romance.

In a surprising announcement, Landon revealed via his Instagram Story in February that he and Charli had parted ways.

"Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together," he wrote. "We broke up to focus on ourselves."

He went on to share that despite the breakup, they remain on good terms. "We are still friends and have so much love for each other," he expressed.

"I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions," Landon continued. "Thanks, love you all so much."

Charli, 19, and Landon, 20, first ignited romance rumors when they were spotted leaving the musician's Los Angeles concert together in June 2022 and made it official on social media in July.

The pair, affectionately nicknamed "Chardon" by TikTok users, became a fixture on red carpets and frequently offered glimpses into their lives together on social media.
