Kyle Richards is finally opening up about meeting Rihanna back in December.
In an interview on SiriusXM's Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared an intimate moment and sage advice she received from the pop icon during a chance encounter in Aspen, Colorado.
Kyle recounted the unexpected meeting at the luxury Western apparel store Kemo Sabe, where she and Rihanna were present during the holiday season. Reflecting on the encounter, Richards expressed her gratitude for Rihanna's warmth and kindness, recalling a touching interaction between the fashion mogul and one of her daughters.
"I never forgot how sweet that was," Kyle told Kelly, recounting how she came to meet Rihanna. "[The store] was closed for her because it was like 9:30 at night, and I was like, 'Oh, well, will you tell her I know that she's a fan of the show?' Because she stopped my daughter once and tapped my daughter on the shoulder when she was with a group of her friends and my daughter turned around. It was Rihanna and she said, 'I just want you to know that I'm obsessed with you and your family, and I love you guys so much.' And my daughter started crying."
Upon learning of Kyle’s presence at the Aspen establishment, Rihanna insisted on meeting her and shared valuable insights into navigating marital challenges and dealing with scrutiny from others.
"She was giving me all kinds of amazing advice about my marriage, the women, how we're handling things and she was the cutest thing," Kyle shared.
The reality star went on to reveal Rihanna's poignant advice, which resonated deeply with her.
"She said, 'Next time one of these women want to know all the details of the intimacies of your marriage, tell them 'Why do I need to give you the blueprint to my home when I'm already renovated?'" Richards recounted, highlighting Rihanna's metaphorical wisdom.
"Oh my god, but I don't know if that's bad I repeated it or not, but I was like, 'This woman is so smart. She's such a woman's woman.' She was so incredibly supportive and sweet and just such a beautiful person just inside and out," added Kyle.
Kyle's separation from Mauricio Umansky was confirmed in September. The couple initially denied reports of their breakup but later went public with their split, expressing that they were currently separated and not discussing divorce.
