Kourtney Kardashian wants new moms to take their time getting back to the gym.
On Wednesday, the Kardashians star marked her return to working out with a video and some inspirational words.
In a clip, shared on her Instagram Story, the Poosh founder encouraged the new mom followers to take their time as they return to their fitness routine.
"7 weeks postpartum: first day in the gym doing 30 mins walking 3.0, 12.0 incline taking it easy no rush no pressure. mamas your body is healing, it's not a race" Kourtney wrote.
While you couldn't see her face in the frame, Kourtney's feet were moving at a steady pace while she filmed the video.
Kourtney, 44, and her husband, Travis Barker, 48, welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rocky Thirteen, on Nov. 1.
While the proud parents haven't taken to Instagram to share their son's face, they are living in baby bliss.
"Kourtney and Travis are over the moon and could not be more elated that they share a child of their own together," a source recently told ET. "Kourtney and Travis already had an unbreakable bond, but having a baby together has brought them even closer and made them fall even more in love. This experience has solidified their feelings that they were destined to be together."
Kourtney shares children Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9, with her ex, Scott Disick. Travis is the father of Alabama, 17, and Landon, 20, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. He also helped raise Atiana De La Hoya, Moakler's 24-year-old daughter, whom she shares with her ex, Oscar De La Hoya.
Conceiving their child was a journey for Kourtney and Travis -- who tied the knot in 2022. The pair went through various routes of IVF, before deciding to take the natural route. In September, Kourtney had to undergo fetal surgery, a procedure she said saved her son's life.
"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery," she wrote on Instagram. "I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant. Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍."
Shortly after Rocky's birth, a source told ET that Kourtney and Travis "feel complete after the birth of their son."
"The couple can’t stop smiling and expressing gratitude for their blessing," the source continued. "The couple has been surrounded by love and their families have been there to support them where needed. Right now the couple is trying to enjoy this time, because they know it goes by fast."
