The reality star posted the Instagram message following a tense reunion episode.
Kim Zolciak is ready to put the drama behind her.
The 39-year-old reality star and mother of six took to Instagram on Sunday to pen a lengthy apology note of sorts to her longtime Bravo co-star and frenemy, NeNe Leakes.
“I am so sorry for what has happened @neneleakes,” she began the post, which features a photo of herself and Leakes at the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special with host, Andy Cohen, in the middle.
Zolciak went on to insist that she could have taken action against Leakes, noting, “We both know the truth, we both know that if I wanted to, I could have a lawsuit for the lies you have spewed.”
The Don’t Be Tardy star went on to make accusations against Leakes before adding, “I have reacted to it publicly and for that I am sorry. I should have risen above it. I personally will no longer engage with you on social media and perpetuate the hate. I am asking you to do the same.”
Zolciak went on to note that she and Leakes, who have had ups and downs throughout their time on RHOA, both had families, proclaiming, “Enough is enough. I want us to move on.”
She concluded her message, writing: “If you continue this, it will be because you are attempting to stay on the show and stay relevant and that’s on you.”
As to whether Zolciak will be returning to RHOA, it seems a safe bet to say that she isn’t. Over the weekend, she told TMZ she will “never, never” star on the reality series again.
When ET’s Nischelle Turner spoke with Cohen about casting for RHOA last week, he seemed to echo Zolciak’s sentiment.
“I would be surprised if Kim came back, just because she left the reunion really unhappy,” he told ET. “I don’t think this was a fun experience for her, and so I would be really surprised if she came back.”
Zolciak returned to RHOA this year as a “friend” after previously leaving the show in the middle of season five back in 2012.
