Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Reach Agreement In Foreclosure Case, Have 90 Days to Sell Home

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have 90 days to sell their home.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have reached an agreement in the foreclosure case against them. According to court docs obtained by ET, the Bravo couple reached an agreement with Truist Bank, delaying the foreclosure on their Alpharetta, Georgia, home.

The agreement halts Truist's foreclosure proceedings for 90 days, giving Zolciak and Biermann time to try and sell their home on their own. If they're unable to sell their home and pay Truist back in that time period, the bank can step in and resume foreclosure proceedings, which Zolciak and Biermann will be unable to hinder or prevent.

Zolciak and Biermann took out a $1.65 million loan to buy the seven-bedroom home on Oct. 23, 2012. Trouble first came to light in November 2022, when reports surfaced claiming the home had been sold for $257,000, which Zolciak denied. Several months later, the house was placed on the auction block, but the auction was canceled.

At that time, an agreement was reached with Truist that placed the estranged couple on "foreclosure probation," meaning they had to make their mortgage payments every month for three months, and the unpaid amount would be placed at the back of the loan to avoid foreclosure again. But, after failing to make July's payment, the home was once again facing foreclosure.

With that in mind, in September 2023, Biermann asked the court for permission to sell the mansion, claiming that he and Zolciak were "financially destitute" thanks to his estranged wife's "reckless spending habits and love for online gambling."

The following month, the home was placed on the market for $6 million. The asking price has since been reduced to $4.5 million.

In addition to the pair's financial woes -- Zolciak's Range Rover has been ordered to be repossessed, while Biermann is facing lawsuits from BMW and Capitol One -- they are facing marital trouble too.

They each filed for filed for divorce in May 2023 after 11 years of marriage and made a series of allegations against one another. They briefly reconciled, but Biermann filed for divorce for a second time in August.

Zolciak responded by filing a motion to dismiss Biermann's second divorce petition on the grounds that they're still engaging in "marital sexual relations," but her estranged husband remained adamant he wants out of the marriage.

After police responded to an incident at the pair's home in December, Zolciak and Biermann were ordered to pay $5,000 for a parental fitness evaluator. The duo shares Brielle, 27, Ariana, 22, KJ, 13, Kash, 11, and 10-year-old twins Kaia and Kane.
