Kris Jenner sent her a delicious rose cake.
Kimye’s now a family of three! Kim Kardashian announced the news that she and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed their third child via surrogate earlier this week.
And while the world anxiously awaits the couple’s sure-to-be-unique name choice and the baby girl’s first photo, Kim’s famous family have shared their congratulations with the excited parents on social media.
Kim first announced the news on her website, writing, “She’s here! We’re so in love.”
Kim’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, who is currently pregnant with her first child, retweeted the news with lots of heart emojis.
Momager Kris Jenner sent her daughter a pink cake covered in edible roses, which the reality star documented on social media, writing, “Thank You Mom.”
Kim also shared a paparazzi photo of herself, writing, “#momofthree.”
Kim’s sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner stayed quiet on social media, as did her brother, Rob Kardashian. But there’s sure to be plenty of celebrations in the family as Kylie and Khloe are both due to have their own kids later this year.
This past November, Kim opened up to ET’s Keltie Knight about her struggles with having her third child via surrogate.
"You know, it is really different," she said at the time. "Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control. And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but it is still ... knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not, you know, my baby now, it's hard for me. So, it's definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area."
