Keeping Up With the Kardashians is doing some good.
On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian West revealed that Alexandria House -- a non-profit transitional residence providing safe and supportive housing for women and children -- has received over $1 million in donations after a KUWTK episode aired in which Kim visits the organization.
"Just got off the phone w/our show producers who informed me that since our episode on homelessness aired @ahouse_la have been flooded w/donations from people who were so moved!" Kim tweeted on Tuesday. "One person even donated $1mil. THANK U to those who have helped to make a difference! #AlexandriaHouse."
She also re-tweeted a fan who wrote, "I hope people now see that documentation isn't to show how good of a person is, but how he/she can reach others into landing a hand. Inspiring through showing. Getting inspired through seeing."
During the episode, which aired in November, the 37-year-old reality star took place in a party for Alexandria House and listened to some women tell their personal stories of being homeless.
"I just want to bring awareness to this issue because I feel like there's a lot that can be done in our community and it starts with just getting the information," the mother of two said in the episode.
Alexandria House thanked Kim in a Facebook post from November with pictures of staff, volunteers and residents watching the episode together.
"On this episode, Kim Kardashian West visited Alexandria House and the show featured 3 of our past residents sharing parts of their stories," the post reads. "The best part about watching the show together was hearing our kids squeal and laugh every time they recognized someone they knew. We are grateful to Kim, E!, PRIV and others for taking the time to advocate for awareness of the dire homeless situation in Los Angeles."
Meanwhile, next week's KUWTK promises to be a pivotal episode, teasing the reveal of Khloe Kardashian's pregnancy.
