The 'Pursuit of Happiness' rapper and his fiancée made their red carpet debut at the 'Knuckles' premiere.
Kid Cudi is beyond the pursuit of happiness -- he's found it!
On Wednesday, the "Day 'n' Night" rapper announced his engagement to menswear designer Lola Sartore.
"My fiancé Lola and me at the Knuckles premiere," the 40-year-old rapper, who stars in the Paramount+ series with Idris Elba, wrote on Instagram. "This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and im so excited to share this news w u all Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect 😉🙏🏾 Styled by @ysl."
The rapper, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, included with his engagement announcement a series of photos from the premiere of Knuckles in London, England,. Together, the pair smiled and showed a little PDA on the red carpet as they wore coordinating black ensembles by YSL. Sartore was also sporting a big rock on that finger.
Cudi's bride-to-be took to the comments of his post to express love for her man. "I never thought I could love someone this much! So proud to call you my fiancé Scott," she wrote. "I can't wait for you all to see this amazing man in the new Knuckles show."
Sartore further shared Cudi's post on her Instagram Story, writing, "The smiles on our faces say it all! Love you to the moon and back @kidcudi."
Cudi then re-shared the post on his IG Story with two kiss emojis, writing, "Love you more my angel baby."
Sartore also took to her Instagram grid to share the same series of pictures as Cudi with her own announcement.
"I never thought I could love someone this much! So proud to call you my fiancé Scott. ❤️🔥," she wrote. "I can't wait for you all to see this amazing man in the new Knuckles show!"
Cudi's marriage to Sartore will be his first. The rapper is the father of 13-year-old daughter Vada, whom he welcomed in a previous relationship. In previous years, Cudi has been linked to Cassie Ventura, Michelle Trachtenberg and Stella Maeve.
Cudi and Sartore's relationship timeline has yet to be revealed, as the pair's engagement news was the first time they appeared on each other's social media accounts. Sartore, however, did work alongside Cudi's friend and late designer, Virgil Aboloh, according to her social media.
The romance seems like a whirlwind as Cudi was still in his dating era in 2022 while speaking to ET at the premiere of his Netflix series, Entergalactic. In the animated series, the rapper voiced Jabari -- an artist who is balancing a career and a love life.
Cudi revealed the limited series about Black love gave viewers "a taste" of that he was looking for in a partner. "Well, I feel like this was something that was needed, like a Black love story, told in this way, and I kind of sprinkled a lot of like, my hopes and dreams, and what I want out of a relationship into this," he shared.
Amid his engagement news, Cudi is also celebrating his return to the Coachella Valley Music Festival in Indio, California. Earlier this week, it was announced that the "Solo Dolo" rapper will perform on Sunday at the star-studded event.
"On the pursuit of happiness," Coachella's caption on the post read next to the schedule, which was updated to reflect his performance. He will replacing Vampire Weekend. Cudi's last stint at Coachella was in 2019.
And in addition to an engagement, Knuckles and Coachella, Cudi is also gearing up for his Insano World Tour this summer.
