The Kardashians are currently in crisis management mode after reports on Tuesday that Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, cheated on Khloe with multiple women, a source close to the family tells ET.
According to the source, Khloe -- who's due to give birth any day now -- isn't expected to make any immediate announcement or a rash decision about Tristan.
“Friends are shocked and didn’t see this coming," the source says. "They seemed to be in a really good place."
The source says that despite the cheating scandal, Khloe is still planning to deliver her baby girl with Thompson in Cleveland, Ohio.
“Khloe is still in Cleveland and will have the baby there,” the source says. “As always, the baby is the priority. Khloe is focused on having a healthy delivery.”
Photos and videos were published by multiple outlets on Tuesday that allegedly show Thompson being intimate with unknown women. A source previously told ET that the Kardashian family is now rallying around Khloe.
"The video hasn't stopped the Kardashians from making sure her day will be one of love and respect," the source said of the 33-year-old pregnant reality star. "They won't let any news change the importance of how beautiful this birth is for Khloe."
"They want her to focus on having a healthy experience," the source continued, adding that Khloe's family is trying to keep her from looking at "any of the news right now."
The source noted that the Kardashian family was also shocked at the cheating reports. "They really like Tristan and have welcomed him into their family," the source said. "At this point Khloe's family wants nothing more than to believe that he is a stand up guy and that this was a set up. But only time will tell.”
Khloe has gushed about her relationship with Tristan multiple times. In February, she took to her app to share how she knew the 27-year-old NBA star was "the One," and recalled the early days of their courtship.
"I have never felt so comfortable or so safe with someone," she wrote. "Because of that, I took it very slowly and was cautious about how I went about 'us.' I made sure we had very in-depth conversations. I wanted to make sure that those conversations were backed up by actions."
"It was really reassuring to feel that someone had the same belief systems as I did," she added. "We shared the same principles and morals. We spoke about religion, children and our families."
