"Happy birthday, Amari! Big number 18! We are so blessed and fortunate for all the blessings that you bring to our lives! You are always a beacon of light! I love you so much and I’m so so blessed to be your older brother," the Cleveland Cavaliers star wrote.

Kris Jenner also celebrated Amari's birthday with a tribute of her own.

"Happy 18th birthday Amari!!! You are the sweetest, most special soul and we all love you so very much," Khloé's mom wrote. "Each and every time we are together I am grateful for the lessons you teach me. I thank God every day for your spirit and the love that you give. Thank you for showing us what pure love is. I love you to the moon and back, Lovey xo ❤️🙏🏼🥰🥳🎂 @realtristan13 @khloekardashian."

In February, Tristan became the the full guardian of Amari -- who is is physically and mentally disabled and is confined to a wheelchair due to Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy -- after their mother, Andrea Brooks, died in 2023. The NBA star filed the paperwork after he had been acting as the primary caregiver of Amari in the absence of their father, Trevor Thompson.

Amari has been a regular fixture in Khloé's life even after the end of her relationship with Tristan. Following the death of their mother, Tristan and Amari moved in with Khloé, who helped out with his care as Tristan played basketball.

On the last season of Hulu's The Kardashians, Kris Jenner became emotional as she spoke about the teen's impact on their family.

"Amari is teaching us a lot of life lessons," Kris said as she wiped away tears away while discussing the loss of Tristan and Andrea's mother.

Cut to present time, it was a big weekend for the Kardashian family. In addition to Amari, Khloé and Tristan celebrated their son, Tatum's, second birthday. In honor of the occasion, the former couple threw their baby boy a dinosaur-themed birthday bash
