The sisters try their hand at shooting firearms on the next episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’
Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian are seriously considering arming themselves.
The sisters contemplate buying guns on the next episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and ET has your exclusive first look at their visit to a gun range to be trained by 3 Gun National and World Tactical Champion, Taran Butler.
“We want to learn how to be comfortable with a gun,” Khloe tells Taran. “Kendall’s been robbed before and we just want to protect ourselves.”
Kendall and Khloe previously opened up to big sister Kim about wanting to keep firearms in their homes, much to Kim’s dismay. The family previously worked with the gun control group Everytown, hearing stories from families affected by gun violence in America.
“I personally am not a fan of owning guns and having guns in the home, especially with everything we’ve learned,” Kim shared. “Owning guns just has never been my thing, and with kids in the house, I just don’t think that, you know, it’s something that I’m comfortable with.”
“I know Kim is so against us getting guns, but for Kendall and I, it’s something that we feel like we need to do in order for us to sleep better at night,” Khloe says. “I think Kim will respect it more if she sees later how much work, effort and responsibility we put into this.”
Khloe is first to get a personal lesson from Taran, taking aim at a dummy set up at the range. She fires off one round and Kendall jumps, hiding her face behind her hands.
“I can’t believe Khloe, like, jumps into this and is so comfortable,” she says in a confessional. “I’ve obviously been to a shooting range before, but it’s literally scaring me so bad, I’m hiding behind the wall.”
