A source opened up to ET about Kardashian's one struggle as a new mom.
Khloe Kardashian is getting back to business.
The 33-year-old reality star returned to Snapchat on Thursday to share her first workout, a month after giving birth to her daughter, True Thompson. Kardashian opened up about her determination to get her body back, telling fans that while she's feeling "strong" mentally, her body needs to catch up.
"It is a struggle getting back into the groove of working out … Mentally, I’m strong, but physically it’s just not the same. My body is not doing what I feel like my mind is telling it to do, so that’s a struggle, but’s only day one,” she said. “I need to motivate myself. It’s also a struggle trying to fit in working out between feedings, no two days are the same, you know, True is so great, but still, I can’t predict if she’s gonna sleep for the full two hours or if she’s hungry.”
Kardashian welcomed True just days after her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, was accused of cheating on her while she was pregnant. The Good American designer didn't mention Thompson in her Snapchats, but said she'll be "documenting me trying to get this body back, my mind, everything strong." "I want mind, body and soul, it all to be lined up and zen, and [I'm] trying to now do this with my sweet, little baby girl."
Though we still haven't seen a shot of baby True's face, Kardashian gave fans a small peek at her daughter's arm on Snapchat.
The reality star also took to her blog and app on Thursday to reflect on baby True's first month of life. "So far, she's so incredibly sweet and patient -- really not fussy at all. I can tell she's going to be super athletic and incredibly strong!" she said. "She's very calm, peaceful and loves to cuddle with her parents."
A source told ET, meanwhile, that while True hasn't been fussy, Kardashian is experiencing one challenge of being a new mom. "Breastfeeding has been difficult, and she wants to make sure her baby gets the best care she could ever have. She is so excited about motherhood, she barely wants to leave her baby's side, but knows she has work to do on herself,” the source said.
Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, touched on Kardashian's struggle with breastfeeding during her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show -- but said that no matter what, her daughter is "figuring it out one day at a time." "She's the best mom already," Jenner gushed.
