A source tells ET’s that Tristan’s alleged infidelity has become an unspoken point of contention between Khloe and her close friends and family.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson announced the name of their newborn baby girl on Monday, and a source tells ET that the name, True Thompson, was chosen before the couple’s recent drama.
The source explains that Khloe and Tristan kept their baby’s name private leading up to her birth on Thursday, and that the happy family are currently spending time together in Cleveland.
“Khloe and Tristan are currently very much still together and living together and there is currently no plans for that to change,” the source adds. “They’re both there for their daughter.”
The 33-year-old reality star gave birth to her baby girl amid a cheating scandal, in which a video surfaced of her 27-year-old beau allegedly kissing another woman. However, since welcoming her daughter, ET’s source claims that Khloe plans to stay with Tristan.
“[She] is madly in love with him, he’s her world,” the source says of the couple’s relationship. “Khloe is a romantic through and through. She is the kindest, sweetest, most loving person who did not deserve this… Khloe’s chosen to forgive him [Tristan] and she expects everyone else to move on too.”
Khloe has had the support of her mom, Kris Jenner, and sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, who traveled to be with her in Cleveland for True’s birth. However, ET’s source notes that the reports of Tristan’s infidelity have become a divisive topic among the reality star’s close friends and family, who feel betrayed by the Cleveland Cavaliers star and worry that Khloe isn’t processing the news in the whirlwind of welcoming her baby.
“Khloe is always all in or all out. There is no middle ground for her. And once her mind is made up it’s impossible to change it,” claims the source, who adds that the cheating scandal has become an “unspoken topic that no one is addressing, because they don’t want to drive a wedge between them and Khloe.”
And, as opposed to previous info that suggested that Khloe would be returning to Los Angeles with her daughter as soon as the baby could travel, ET’s source suggests that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star may be staying in Cleveland for the time being.
“Khloe isn’t currently planning to return to L.A.,” the source notes. “She wants to stay put in her home in Cleveland. That was the original plan and she wants to stick to it.”
According to ET’s source, Khloe is simply working hard for her happy ever after. However, that doesn’t mean she’s necessarily looking to walk down the aisle with Tristan.
“She already did that with Lamar, she’s done the big wedding and doesn’t need to do that again,” the source notes of the star’s possible plans for marriage. “What Khloe did want was a family, a partner and children. That’s all Khloe has wanted and she’d be devastated if that fell apart.”
