Kevin Costner's Ex-Wife Christine Seemingly Confirms Romance With Mutual Friend With PDA-Filled Outing

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner finalized their contentious divorce battle in February.

Kevin Costner’s ex wife, Christine Baumgartner, appears to have moved on from the actor with Josh Connor after their rollercoaster divorce. Costner, 69, and Baumgartner, 50, finalized their divorce earlier this year after 18 years of marriage and three children together.

Baumgartner was photographed hand-in-hand with Connor, a financier, during a romantic stroll in Santa Barbara, California. The couple appeared relaxed and affectionate, with Baumgartner unable to contain her joy as they wrapped their arms around each other.

The sighting comes just days after Costner opened up about the tumultuous situation surrounding his popular TV series, Yellowstone, in which he plays a leading role. He described the show's hiatus and delayed filming as a result of internal conflicts, including alleged disagreements between him and the show's creator, Taylor Sheridan.

Meanwhile, the aftermath of Costner and Baumgartner's split was marked by legal disputes, particularly concerning child support and financial arrangements.

Throughout the divorce proceedings, the personal lives of Costner and Baumgartner fell under scrutiny, especially during their courtroom appearances regarding child support arrangements. Baumgartner's emotional testimony shed light on the financial strains she allegedly faced post-divorce, including concerns about housing and support for her family.

The complexities of their legal battles were further highlighted by conflicting accounts and accusations from both sides. Costner has vehemently denied allegations of withholding child support, insisting that his proposed payments adequately meet the needs of their children.

Last August, Baumgartner appeared in a Santa Barbara County courtroom and testified that the former couple's mutual friend, Connor, was not her boyfriend. Though Costner never mentioned Connor by name in legal documents he filed, the actor insinuated as much when he claimed that "her boyfriend recently gave her $20,000."

While emotional at times on the stand at a hearing to determine what Costner should pay in child support for their three children, Baumgartner was asked about her and Connor's July vacation in Hawaii. She was also asked if Connor was her boyfriend and answered affirmatively, "No."

However, Baumgartner conceded -- while wiping away tears -- that Connor gave her $20,000. Baumgartner also testified that she gave half to her mother. When asked why she was being emotional, Baumgartner shared that she was concerned about her mother's well-being. She also stated that, during the marriage, Costner gave her mother $5,000 monthly, which she said her mother is no longer receiving.

In a legal document obtained by ET in February, the Notice of Entry of Judgment regarding the dissolution of the former couple's marriage was officially filed on Feb. 20. The document noted that the judgment was entered on Feb. 16, the first day the couple was legally single once again. Costner and Baumgartner signed a Marital Settlement Agreement, which put an end to their months-long divorce saga.

Costner and Baumgartner's divorce being finalized came five months after they settled their divorce

"Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings," a rep for the actor told ET in September in a joint statement for the duo.

Both Costner and Baumgartner have reportedly moved on. The Bodyguard actor has been linked to singer Jewel, while Baumgartner has apparently been dating their former neighbor, Connor.
