Katy Perry Teases Star-Studded 'Swish Swish' Music Video -- Is She Making a 'Bad Blood' Reference?

Fans have speculated that "Swish Swish" is about the pop star's feud with the "Shake It Off" singer.

Katy Perry's upcoming music video for "Swish Swish" might be in response to Taylor Swift's 2014 music video for "Bad Blood."

Fans have already speculated that the pop star's song is about the "Shake It Off" singer, and upon teasing the release of the "Swish Swish" music video, Perry posted a telling tweet.

"COUNTDOWN TO CATASTROPHE," she wrote. As fans may recall, Swift's character in her "Bad Blood" music video was named Catastrophe.

Like "Bad Blood," Perry teases that the "Swish Swish" music video will also boast lots of celebrities, including Saturday Night Live alum Molly Shannon, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Terry Crews, Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz and Nicki Minaj, who also raps on the track.

The music video follows a basketball game between the Sheeps and the Tigers, which is hailed as "the hottest mess in history." Perry is on the Tigers and clearly isn't the greatest player on the court.

After fans started speculating that "Swish Swish" was written as a diss track aimed at Swift, Perry changed a key lyric in the song during her marathon YouTube livestreaming event in June. Instead of singing the line, "Don't you come for me," in the first verse, she crooned, "God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl."
