Kate Beckinsale and Britney Spears are showing love to each other over the internet.

Kate Beckinsale and Britney Spears are supporting each other from afar.

Over the weekend, the 50-year-old Underworld actress reposted a message from Spears, 42, in which she expressed her disappointment in Instagram haters who have bullied Beckinsale over her appearance in recent months.

In the message, Spears said she was inspired to pen the post of support as she loves Serendipity and feels as though Beckinsale deserves more love and less hate in her comments.

"I adore Kate Beckinsale especially because she's from London Ek !!! I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG saying she needs more age appropriate content.. she's in her fifties and I thought it was pretty badass how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old," Spears wrote. She also went on to call out the very same critics who make fun of her infamous dancing videos.

Spears, after acknowledging her own haters and punching back at those who give her grief, concluded her post with an address of solidarity.

"I'm gonna do a photoshoot with Kate and tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f**k off," she wrote, referencing her recent beef with Ozzy Osbourne, who recently said he was "fed up" with her dancing videos.

In response, Beckinsale reposted the written out Instagram message to her own Instagram Story, thanking the "Womanizer" crooner for her support.

"Women supporting women is my favourite thing. Thank you @britneyspears ,warrior queen of all queens for your incredibly sweet post VWVVall the love right back," Beckinsale posted in an Instagram Story. She also attached pink emojis and hearts to show her love for the "Lucky" crooner.

Beckinsale has been the target of what she calls "insidious bullying" in recent weeks over her appearance. Followers have recently been accusing the actress of getting plastic surgery and lying about it, which she vehemently denies.

In May, she even took to Instagram to shut down the hate and put an end to the rumors.

"I hate talking about this because I hate adding to this conversation but I'm doing it because insidious bullying of any kind over time takes a toll," Beckinsale wrote over a video showing her at two very different ages.

"Every time I post anything – and by the way, this has been the case since I was about 30 -I am accused of having had unrecognisable surgery /using Botox using fillers /being obsessed with looking younger, and it's really such a tiresome and subtly vicious way to bully a person," she shared.

Not so differently, Spears has been under similar circumstances in her life. Most recently, the criticisms came from Ozzy, 75, and several of his family members who addressed her popular dancing videos during an episode of their podcast.

On The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy expressed his disdain for the pop singer, saying he was "fed up of seeing poor Britney Spears on YouTube."

"Dancing," Sharon Osbourne clarified.

"Every f**king day," he added. "It’s sad, very, very, sad." Sharon and their children, Jack and Kelly, joined the critique.

"Save Britney," Jack, 38, said, referencing Britney's 13-year conservatorship that ended in November 2021.

"I know, I feel so sorry for her," Kelly, 39, added. Sharon, 71, called Britney a "poor little thing."

"Very, very sad," Jack reiterated.

"Very sad indeed," Sharon concluded. "It's heartbreaking."

Spears is as unbothered as ever, though, as she continues to flood her Instagram feed with her best moves. Dance it out, Brit!
