ET spoke with the singer ahead of her 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards performance.
Karol G is living out her dreams.
The 28-year-old Colombian singer has had the pleasure of working multiple times with her boyfriend and reggaetonero Anuel AA, something she calls "the most beautiful thing" to happen to her in her career. Ahead of the 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards, ET's Denny Directo caught up with Karol at Caesars Palace, Universal Music Suite, in Las Vegas on Wednesday, where she touched on how wonderful it is to collaborate with her main squeeze.
"That's the most beautiful thing that is happening to me right now because we are celebrating everything together," she said of their shared successes. "He is in a good moment in his life, and I'm probably in the best moment of my life. Going together on tour, we're celebrating what we have done."
Karol continued by explaining that she and Anuel have had to add more dates to their Culpable tour, after shows quickly sold out and fans expressed their need to see them live.
"Five dates and all of them sold out," she marveled. "There are places that we have to open a new date because a lot of people want to see this. This is just love and passion. I'm super happy that people like to see [us]…I'm super happy."
"I'm celebrating all these things. I'm doing what I love," Karol continued, adding that she's working on new ventures and her album, Ocean. "I'm doing the performance on the show, partnerships with different labels, so what's next? What's more? I'm super excited to go to the next level and I'm going to launch my new album, Ocean."
Karol and Anuel are set to heat up Billboard Latin Music Awards stage on Thursday night where they will be treating fans to a mega performance of their two hits.
"It's the first time Anuel and me [are] going to perform together [at] an awards [show]," Karol said before teasing the performance. "We're super excited. We're going to perform two songs, 'Culpables' and 'Secreto.' I have to say to my people, wait for that moment because you're going to die."
"It's going to be amazing, amazing. I'm super happy. I'm super happy because we're about to kill it," she shared.
