A source also tells ET that 40-year-old rapper split with his manager, Scooter Braun, but that the two 'are still close.'
All's well with Kanye West, despite recent reports claiming otherwise.
A source tells ET that while reports surfaced on Tuesday alleging that the 40-year-old rapper has become unhinged while fighting with his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, the pair couldn't be on better terms. A second source says reports of West fighting with the family are "not true at all."
“Kris and Kanye have an amazing relationship,” ET's first source says. “They even spent all of yesterday together. They vibe so well together and inspire one another.”
As for reports that West is spinning out of control and separating himself from his inner circle, the same source says the rapper has indeed split from his manager, Scooter Braun -- but the two "are still close." The pair started working together a couple years ago, and Braun (who also manages Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, among others) reportedly took on more responsibility after West split from his longtime manager Izvor “Izzy” Zivkovic in March.
West returned to Twitter last week, posting a series of both heartfelt and odd tweets. In one message, West wrote, "Sometimes you have to get rid of everything" -- causing his wife, Kim Kardashian, to jokingly ask for clarification.
According to ET's first source, however, the couple are as solid as ever. "She doesn't try to control him," the source shares. "She understands him and what he does and why he does it. She's fully supportive of him."
Kardashian recently opened up to ET about her life at home with West and how their kids, 4-year-old North and 2-year-old Saint, have adjusted to their new baby sister, Chicago.
