It's a big week for the 'Big Bang Theory' star.
Kaley Cuoco is giving back.
The Big Bang Theory star took to Instagram on Monday to share a slideshow of pics from her and husband Karl Cook's visit to Kentucky Children's Hospital, where they sweetly met with patients.
"Today was magic," she began her touching post. "@mrtankcook & I had the opportunity to visit patients and their families at Kentucky Childrens Hospital. It was truly remarkable to meet the kids one on one and see the smiles spread across their faces."
"Thank you to the incredible staff for their amazing care and for letting us be part of something special. Thank you @christinabriggs14 @mxday @twgoldberg @jennig756 @hartfieldandco , Dr Day and everyone else who helped out. Today was unforgettable and another reminder to never take a day for granted. ☀️?," Cuoco wrote.
It's a big week for Cuoco, who will say goodbye to playing Penny on The Big Bang Theory when the CBS sitcom airs its series finale on Thursday.
In an interview with ET last November, the 33-year-old actress said that after 12 years on Big Bang, life will never be the same.
"It's something I'll have for the rest of my life. It's something I'll probably compare every project to, like nothing will be like Big Bang," she said. "It just is what it is. It's made me who I am. It's given me so many great things and blessings and I'll be very indebted to the show and Chuck Lorre forever."
Cuoco did, however, have an idea of how she'd like to spend her time. "I think a lot of horses, apparently a lot of pigs, a lot of bunnies. And being home with my husband. I'm excited about that," she said.
