The ER and Good Wife star rocks a badass new red-headed look in AMC's upcoming summer drama series, Dietland, and only ET has the exclusive first look at a brand new teaser that will make its TV debut on Friday afternoon.
Created by uber-producer Marti Noxon (Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, UnREAL) and based on the best-selling 2015 novel by Sarai Walker, Dietland unveils one woman’s journey to self-awakening while exploring a multitude of issues faced by women today -- including patriarchy, misogyny, rape culture and unrealistic beauty standards. Margulies plays the fearless Kitty Montgomery, the narcissistic boss of fashion magazine writer Plum Kettle (Joy Nash).
In the exclusive teaser, Kitty lays down the law with Plum, telling her -- in her own way, of course -- that this is her time to speak her truth and that the years of being "harassed and screwed over" are done.
Just how ruthless is Kitty? She's the definition of a boss lady in five-inch heels and a wicked red lip.
In a later scene, Kitty demands a male counterpart do the unthinkable, as she props up her leg on a chair in her pristine office. "Kiss it. Kiss my foot."
We can't wait to see what's in store.
Dietland premieres with back-to-back episodes on Monday, June 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
