Josh Hartnett recently took his daughters to see Taylor Swift in London -- spoiler alert, it was life-changing.
Josh Hartnett says his experience at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert in London is one he will not soon forget.
Chatting with The Hollywood Reporter about his guest-starring role in The Bear season 3, Hartnett, 45, discussed his character in the FX dramedy's Swiftie status and how attending the "Karma" singer's June tour stop in England was a full-circle moment.
After the interviewer mentioned that Hartnett's on-screen fiancée, Gillian Jacobs, recently surmised his character, Frank, would have a "stockpile of Taylor Swift friendship bracelets," the Oppenheimer actor agreed and shared his own story about the show.
"Oh, sure. Of course, you'd have the friendship bracelets, especially since they got those concert tickets last season. Funnily enough, I went to the Eras Tour with my daughters recently, and it was wild," Hartnett detailed, calling it a "good event for my daughters' first concert."
He added, "I've never experienced anything like it: 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium losing their minds, including my two daughters. And people were so respectful, my daughters were given so many bracelets, and everything was really sweet."
Hartnett is dad to four children, all of whom he shares with wife Tamsin Egerton. The couple first began dating in 2012 and tied the knot in 2021. The pair have kept their lives incredibly private, only revealing that they welcomed a daughter in 2015 and two other children in 2017 and 2019.
In fact, earlier this year when Hartnett was asked about whether or not he was aware of the "Josh Hartnett Renaissance" on social media, he casually announced that he and Egerton had quietly welcomed their fourth child.
"I have four kids, I live in the countryside," he shared with Gold Derby. "I'm busy either working or taking care of them, but thank you."
As far as the Eras Tour concert goes, it's certainly not the first time Hartnett has found himself surrounded by a room full of screaming teenagers and music fans -- on or off screen. The plot line of his next film is partially inspired by Swift's record-breaking worldwide venture.
The movie, Trap, follows a father (Hartnett) who takes his daughter (Ariel Donaghue) to see pop star Lady Raven, only to discover that the entire event is a trap for police to find "The Butcher," a serial killer that the audience -- per the trailer -- is led to believe is Hartnett's character.
Director M. Night Shyamalan recently spoke with Empire, sharing that he pitched the horror-thriller film as, "What if The Silence of the Lambs happened at a Taylor Swift concert?" According to The Sixth Sense director, 53, it's also inspired by Operation Flagship, a sting operation from the 1980s where law enforcement lured fugitives by offering NFL tickets.
