Take a look at the trio's brand-new music video!
Has the summer anthem of 2019 arrived?
The Jonas Brothers just dropped the music video for their second single since reuniting, titled "Cool," which offers a soulful, laid-back alternative to their crowd-pleaser "Sucker."
In the colorful visual, the trio make their way to Miami Beach in '80s-era suits (while followed by a swarm of spandex-clad women) and offering the camera some seductive looks.
The track even includes a reference to Joe Jonas' fiancee Sophie Turner’s beloved HBO show, Game of Thrones!
"Must've done something right 'cause all these," he sings while holding up a vintage stereo. "Lights are green, man, they look like palm trees. And every time that song comes on it's about me. Oh, I feel like Post Malone when I get home. Sittin' there, winning like it's Game of Thrones. And now that we've made it, how complicated was last year?"
After a guitar solo, pantomimed on a metal detector by Kevin Jonas, the group end up on a yacht at sunset where Nick Jonas playfully croons, "When I grow up I wanna be just like me."
The track’s finale goes down on a makeshift stage by the ocean where spectators of all ages cut a rug to the new track.
According to a press release from Republic Records, the video is intended to conjure "1984 Miami, it channels the spirit of timeless eighties MTV in all its decadent glory."
The group once again partner with Anthony Mandler, who directed the music video for "Sucker," for the Florida-set visual. Following the release of the previous video, Mandler spoke with ET Live about working with the brothers.
"For me, with my history with music videos, it’s always about the artist and the music," Mandler explained of the "Sucker" shoot, which included the group's significant others including Turner, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas. "Who they are and who they represent to people. Helping me facilitate and reimagine people’s dreams… I’m happy to be part of it. Great people and all the wives were amazing. The whole thing was exciting."
Earlier this week, the group announced on social media that they had a new single on the way. "Cool" will be available to buy on Friday.
