The model and EGOT winner took to social media to celebrate their youngest daughter's milestone birthday.
It's a big day for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's family of six! The couple celebrated daughter Esti Maxine's first birthday over the weekend, with both parents taking to social media to share the special celebration with their followers.
On Saturday, the EGOT winner shared several photos of his youngest daughter with the model and cookbook author. "Esti Maxine is ONE today!" Legend wrote in his caption. "She’s been lighting up the house since day one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️."
The gallery began with a shot of Esti smiling as she sat next to a towering birthday cake with pink-and-brown icing and included other shots of her kissing her reflection in a mirror, sporting a large pair of heart-shaped glasses and sitting on the floor next to a book with the title 'Dada' as she flashed an adorable smile.
Legend's post was met with lots of love, including a comment from Viola Davis, which reads, "Happiest of birthdays sweet Esti❤️❤️❤️"
Teigen shared a similar post on her Instagram page on Sunday. Posting a gallery of two photos, Teigen captioned the slide, “Happy one to our coconut! We love you so much, mama is just too tired to type!!!"
The first slide showed the toddler smiling next to her birthday cake, while the second photo showed her innocently sitting on the floor amongst a shattered plant vase.
Legend and Teigen are parents to 7-year-old daughter Luna and 5-year-old son Miles. The couple welcomed Esti back in January 2023 and then announced the arrival of a son, Wren, in June 2023 with the help of their surrogate, Alexandra, whom they honored in their son's name.
When Legend spoke with ET at the Shaquille O'Neal Foundation's third annual fundraising gala in October 2023, the "All of Me" singer opened up about how suddenly their family has grown, explaining, "Well, you know, it was two to three and then quickly three to four. And I think the biggest adjustment was the older kids getting used to having babies around."
Despite the sudden influx of infant siblings, Legend says Luna and Miles have "adjusted quite well" to the new family dynamic.
"They're such good older siblings and we have a lot of fun," he shared. "It's just more love and more joy in the house, honestly."
When speaking of Esti, Legend boasted that she was reaching milestones quicker than they expected, sharing, "She's kind of fast. I think she's the earliest crawler in our family so far. So, I'm pretty excited."
