The 'Conversations With Friends' star last posted on Instagram in September.
Joe Alwyn is offering a rare glimpse into his personal life, sharing a collection of images on social media for the first time since September.
The 32-year-old actor posted a photo dump on Instagram over the weekend, featuring a collection of shots that includes one black-and-white image that appears to be of Alwyn as a child making a silly face for the camera. There's several more black-and-white pics in the carousel, including one artistic image of a photographer's reflection in a mirror set in the wilderness, a still of Alwyn photobombing Succession star Brian Cox at an event, and picturesque landscape snaps of an ocean, a cityscape and a race track tucked against a mountain backdrop.
Alwyn also included a color snapshot of a dog seated in front of a pint of beer, a meme of Ricky Gervais in the U.K.'s The Office with the words "Different drinks for different needs" splashed across the image, and a pair of color photographs taken at The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. One was captured inside the casino, while the other was snapped outside at the bustling entryway.
The post comes shortly after Alwyn's famous ex, Taylor Swift, was notably in Sin City for Super Bowl LVIII, where she was cheering on her new love, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Swifties will also undoubtedly make a connection between the grayscale imagery and its similarity to the pop star's current aesthetic for her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department.
The 34-year-old pop star announced her forthcoming album -- out April 19 -- at the GRAMMY Awards earlier this month, and fans were quick to dig up an apparent link to her former flame. Back in 2022, around the same time Swift dropped her last album, Midnights, Alwyn gave an interview to Variety in which he revealed that he was in a group chat with Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott called "the Tortured Man Club."
Swift has previously said that she began working on Tortured Poets about two years ago after she completed work on Midnights.
The longtime couple was together for six years, from late 2016 to early 2023. ET broke the news of their split, with a source saying that the breakup was amicable and "not dramatic." ET was told at the time that "the relationship had just run its course."
Around that time, Alwyn traveled to Hungary to film The Brutalist opposite Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce. According to IMDb, he has also completed production on an upcoming adaptation of Hamlet starring Riz Ahmed, and Yorgos Lanthimos' Kinds of Kindness with Emma Stone and Margaret Qualley.
