Jessie James Decker Reveals She Tattooed Her Initials on Husband Eric Decker's Finger (Exclusive)

ET spoke to Decker on the red carpet at the CMT Music Awards Monday, where she said she used sharpie to leave her mark on her husband.

Jessie James Decker is making sure to leave her mark on her husband, Eric Decker. ET's Rachel Smith spoke to the couple on the red carpet at the 2022 CMT Music Awards Monday, where Decker revealed that she tattooed her initials on the former NFL star's ring finger in place of his missing wedding ring.

"Yeah, a new tattoo," Eric shared, flashing his ring finger for the camera. "JD...she put her..."

"He forgot his ring, so I tattooed him a second ago with a sharpie," Jessie revealed.

Jessie, who's making her debut on the CMT Music Awards stage Monday night, told ET that she couldn't be more excited for her performance.

"I am feeling good," the "Not In Love With You" singer gushed. "I'm performing. I'm so excited. I'm just in a good mood."

As for what else she's excited to see at the show, Jessie said she's looking forward to seeing the Judds hit the stage in their first televised performance in over two decades.

"I'm excited to see the Judds. I grew up obsessed with Wynona Judd," Jessie shared. "One of the first songs I ever sang as a little girl, was 'No One Else On Earth,' so, I'm just so excited she retweeted or reposted me on Instagram today, so, that was very exciting for me, but she's a huge influence, so, Im excited to see them."

ET spoke to Jessie ahead of the big show, where she shared how "special" it is for her to be performing at the CMT Music Awards.

"I've never been asked to do an awards show and perform, so I just -- I'm pinching myself that I'm able to even do it," Jessie said. "As soon as they told me I was like, 'Really? I get to do that?' It just feels really special, so, I'm so excited. I just feel like it's finally all happening, my country music dream that I've had since I was 9 years old."

Decker will be singing her latest single, "Should Have Known Better," which she called "the best song" she's ever launched as a single.

"I’m really excited about that one, 'cause it's a song I really believe in," she continued. "I feel like it's probably the best song I've ever launched as a single. That will be a lot of fun... What I love about performing that song, is it is so feisty and sassy and empowering. I just feel like it has such a great message, so I'm just excited to rock out."
