Jessica Simpson is adjusting to life as a mom of three just fine -- thanks to husband Eric Johnson.
Simpson took to Instagram on Wednesday to gush over her husband of nearly five years as he held their newborn daughter, Birdie Mae. The former NFL player looks sharp in a black suit in his wife's pic, as he poses with Birdie, who is snug as a bug in a carseat and luxurious Fendi blanket.
The couple -- who are already parents to 6-year-old daughter Maxwell and 5-year-old son Ace -- welcomed Birdie on March 19. "Hot Dad Alert ?," Simpson captioned the pic.
The fashion designer has also praised her older children for their support and love towards baby Birdie, and a source told ET last month that Maxi and Ace couldn't have been more excited for the family's new addition.
"They were so excited and couldn't wait to meet her. Maxwell and Ace were the first ones to hold her after Jessica and Eric," a source close to Simpson told ET, adding that the kids even made signs reading "Welcome Birdie!"
Simpson opened up about her kids' attitude towards a new sibling while chatting with ET last October.
"They're so excited, because they're only 14 months apart, so they didn't get to experience the excitement of each other," Simpson said. "But when I told them that we're having another baby, I know that they'll remember that for the rest of their lives."
