'Grey’s Anatomy' co-stars and besties Jessica Capshaw and Camilla Luddington started a new podcast together, 'Call It What It Is.'

Jessica Capshaw just revealed that she initially didn't like a certain Grey's Anatomy co-star.

On the debut episode of the Call It What It Is podcast, Capshaw, 47, admitted to her co-host, Camilla Luddington, 40, that she didn't like her when they were first introduced to each other more than a decade ago during filming of their long-running medical drama.

"Because we have such a solid friendship now, the assumption is that we have always been friends… like, 'Here's my friendship bracelet, call me,'" Luddington said. "It was not the case. It was not the case for us. This was not our story."

On Grey's Anatomy, which was recently renewed for a historic 21st season, Capshaw and Luddington played doctors Arizona Robbins and Josephine "Jo" Wilson, respectively. On their podcast, the two shared how they went from enemies to besties.

"When I first met you," she began of their 2012 meeting, "I know this is shocking, I did not like you."

The actress, who shares four children -- Luke, Eve, Josephine and Poppy -- with husband Christopher Gavigan, explained that she had just had her second child and "was feeling very insecure about pretty much everything," especially Luddington's arrival.

"I might have shown up to set and people were atwitter about some beautiful new woman coming to the show," recalled Capshaw, who joined the show in the fifth season, exited the series after the 14th season but briefly returned during the 20th. "I think these things can happen where all of a sudden I was sitting across from this beautiful young woman and not feeling myself and I was like, 'Mm I don't know that I'm going to like her.'"

Then, "Burgergate" happened. Luddington, who shares two children, Hayden and Lucas, with husband Matthew Alan, offended Capshaw in the way she thanked showrunner Shonda Rhimes for treating the cast to burgers.

"I realized kind of quickly that you didn't like me," Luddington, whose character was introduced in season 9, explained. "Let's call it the burger truck incident of 2012. There was a lovely burger truck and I snapped a picture of the truck and was like, 'I'm gonna post it on Twitter and tag Shonda and say thank you for the burger truck,' which was very polite. Um, someone wasn't a fan of it."

A single picture almost got between them. Luddington explained that there was a "sliver" of Capshaw eating featured in the photo, which caused their rift to come to a head.

"You were eating a burger like everyone else," Luddington said. "And you were like, 'You need to ask me before you post.' And I was horrified because I'm new and terrified and this is Jessica Capshaw. And I was like OK, she full-on hates me because 'Burgergate' happened and the vibes were not good."

Although the duo continued their beef for a while, describing their relationship as "fine," the actresses eventually bonded over sashimi.

"Long story short, we invited a group of people to go to dinner at Katsuya," Luddington recalled. "And we were the only ones who showed up. Basically, everyone canceled on us."

"And then we really did become friends immediately," Capshaw said of sharing sushi. "It was instant ease and total belonging."
