The singer returned to Studio 8H for her third time host 'SNL' and she absolutely wowed in her musical monologue.
Jennifer Lopez returned to the Saturday Night Live stage over the weekend for her third time hosting, and she owned the stage with a musical monologue that rang in the Christmas season.
Lopez came out in style, dressed to the nines in a full tuxedo, with her long hair flowing down over her shoulders, and she lit up the room with her smile.
The songstress used the monologue to open up about a few of the big things happening in her life right now, including her upcoming gig at the Super Bowl halftime show, walking a runway in Milan in the green Versace dress she first wore 20 years ago and her recent engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
"I got what every girl from the Bronx dreams of: Getting proposed to by a Yankee," Lopez said with a beaming grin.
She also shared that she just turned 50, a revelation that made Beck Bennett's head explode into a geyser of colorful confetti in the audience.
She then used her monologue to celebrate the holiday season with a cheerful rendition of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," for which she was joined by a few Rockettes, who danced with the songstress during the festive tune.
While the Rockettes high kicked, Lopez disappeared behind the group and quick-changed out of her tux and returned to the front of the stage rocking the iconic, skin-baring Versace gown that has become one of her most celebrated looks.
Lopez went on to slay in her sketches, and was even joined by Rodriguez for a moment when he popped in for a cameo in a pre-taped sketch that saw the two split up. Check out the video below for more on this season of Saturday Night Live.
SNL airs live, coast-to-coast, at 11:30 p.m. ET, 8:30 p.m. PT, Saturdays on NBC.
