The actress shared a video of her reading to her chicken.
Jennifer Garner has one well-read chicken in her coop!
On Wednesday, the 45-year-old actress shared a funny video with her Instagram followers that showed her reading the newspaper aloud to her pet, Regina George, who was named after the feisty, super popular Mean Girls character.
"Did you know that by five years, old, poor chickens will have heard 30 million fewer words than their middle class counterparts?" Garner quipped in the caption. "It doesn’t matter how it happens: read to, sing to, talk to your chickens! #wordgap #chickencurrentevents #investinkids."
This is the second post the Alias star has shared that included her hanging out with a chicken this week. Just a few days ago, Garner posted a photo of herself seated cross-legged with a tiny chick on her lap. The message above the pic read: "When you accidentally think about something awkward you said eight years ago."
She also captioned the funny photo: "#icrackmyselfup #awkwardchicken."
Garner just joined Instagram earlier this year and she's already got the hang of it! "I am officially on Instagram! So, please follow me because isn't that how this works...? Xx, Jen," her first caption read.
Her entrance into the world of social media comes amid a year of transition as she officially filed for divorce from husband Ben Affleck in April.
