Jennifer Garner's first Comic-Con experience wasn't without some small mishaps.
Jennifer Garner's first time at San Diego Comic-Con was definitely memorable -- although not entirely in a good way.
The actress took to Instagram on Saturday to document her experience getting stuck in an elevator at the San Diego Convention Center, and seemed in high spirits as she shared a series of videos from her adventure -- which lasted well over an hour.
In the first clip, which was from two minutes into the ordeal, Garner, who was at Comic-Con for the Deadpool & Wolverine panel and surprise screening, addressed her fans and joked, "I could use a Wolverine, I could use a Deadpool. I could use someone..."
Garner went on to share that at 11 minutes in, the elevator was already starting to get "toasty" and they were working on ways to get it moving again.
"I think I heard on an episode of The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine or something that you're supposed to sit," a seated Garner said in a clip shot 35 minutes after the elevator stopped. "So we're sitting."
Soon after, everyone in the car was singing "99 bottles of beer on the wall to pass the time" until they decided to escalate the emergency response.
"We're 45 minutes in, and we're calling 9-1-1," Garner shared.
Finally, in a clip shot at 1 hour and 12 minutes into the situation, noises and banging could be heard coming from the doors, and they were finally freed by firemen who arrived to rescue them all.
"Baby's first Comic Con: a short story," Garner captioned the post.
Garner was on hand at Comic-Con to promote her surprise appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine, which hit theaters on Friday.
She was joined by a slew of other unexpected guests in Hall H, which was headed up by Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and director Shawn Levy.
