ET caught up with the dancer and actress at the 'Soundtrack' premiere.
Jenna Dewan and her family are always dancing and having a good time.
"It's pretty musical," Dewan told ET's Lauren Zima on Wednesday of her household, which includes her daughter Everly and boyfriend Steve Kazee. "My daughter's pretty musical, Evie, she loves to dance and sing around the house. Steve's always playing music. We're always kind of dancing, it's a pretty musical household."
The actress and dancer -- who is currently pregnant with her second child, her first with Kazee -- is ready to share her latest project with the world, Soundtrack, telling ET that it is such a "labor of love."
Dewan stars in Netflix's new 10-episode romantic musical drama, which explores the love stories connecting a diverse group of people living in Los Angeles through the music that lives inside their hearts and minds. In Soundtrack, the actress -- who plays a level-headed young professional -- ponders the challenges of finding love in the modern day, as do other characters in varying degrees.
"I'm really excited about Soundtrack coming out because it was such a labor of love doing this show and it's really unique and different and fresh," she expressed. "And I cannot wait for people to see it."
In the role, Dewan lip syncs, but thanks to her beau she nailed the pretend singing. "He happens to be one of the best lip syncers I have ever seen in my entire life," she said of Kazee, who helped her prepare for the role. "It's breath work, it's where the singer breathes, it's knowing how their inflection is on certain things."
Meanwhile, with a couple of projects in the works, Dewan is gearing up for the arrival of her second baby. However, she did admit that the second time around has been a little bit harder.
"I felt a little bit more tired and nauseous this time around," she shared. "Overall, it's been great. I've definitely been working a lot throughout it, which has been a blessing in a lot of ways so I kind of keep going. Craving-wise, I'm craving a lot of junk food this time around."
The first season of Soundtrack arrives Dec. 18 on Netflix. For more on Dewan, watch below.
