The former 'Teen Mom' star said that CPS took a 'voluntary dismissal' of the case.
Jenelle Evans is celebrating having her eldest son, Jace, back home with her following a Child Protective Services investigation involving herself and her husband, David Eason.
According to 32-year-old the former Teen Mom 2 star, the case has wrapped after CPS took a voluntary dismissal.
"All allegations against me and my husband have been officially dropped," Jenelle said on TikTok. "CPS took a voluntary dismissal."
Jenelle said that she's not planning to share details of the case publicly at this time in order to protect her 14-year-old son's mental health.
"Now that this case has been dropped, I'm focusing on Jace's mental health and I want to focus solely on his mental health right now," the mother of three shared. "Right now I'm not going to give any details on what happened pertaining to the case but it will be shared eventually and soon. Just not right now. It's not the best time."
She added, "Just know that I am super happy. I feel like this is unreal. It still hasn't hit me yet."
The former MTV star shares Jace with her ex, Andrew Lewis. She gave birth to him in 2009 and his birth appeared on 16 and Pregnant.
Jenelle had lots of struggles throughout her time on Teen Mom 2, going through a series of tumultuous relationships and openly battling substance abuse issues. Early into Jace's life, Jenelle signed over custody of her son to her mother, Barbara Evans.
After years of ups and downs with her mom, Jenelle finally got custody of Jace in early 2023 -- but it wasn't smooth sailing from there.
Jace ran away from home multiple times in August and September. At the time, Jenelle claimed the incidents were due to Jace's frustrations after she and David took away his phone.
After sharing that CPS had dropped the investigation, Jenelle posted several additional videos of Jace at her home with her other kids, Kaiser, 9, whom she shares with her ex, Nathan Griffin, and Ensley, 7, whom she shares with David.
"Cherishing every moment," she captioned one video of Jace and Kaiser playing with Hot Wheels cars together.
She also looked back at old baby videos of little Jace on YouTube, writing, "Looking at my oldest YT videos 😭♥️ …i was always there but no one saw it but me and him."
