Jason Kelce speaks with ET about brother Travis Kelce's golf skills and Taylor Swift's 'tremendous' Eras Tour show in London.
Jason Kelce continues to sing Taylor Swift's praises. The former Philadelphia Eagles star is opening up to ET about his time in London with brother Travis Kelce as he and wife Kylie Kelce took in Swift's blockbuster Eras Tour for the first time last month.
"It was tremendous," he told ET's Kevin Frazier on Thursday at the 2024 American Century Championship in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
"She's so not only talented as a singer, everybody knows that, the performance, the writing, the production, like all of that she does is truly remarkable," Jason said. "It's gotta be pretty rare that an artist can really wear all of those hats and it's impressive to watch it take place."
He added, "She's all over the place on that stage, so [it's] very impressive."
Also on hand for that performance was Prince William, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in tow. Jason and Travis had the opportunity to meet the royal family backstage, with Jason calling Princess Charlotte "the highlight" of his trip on a later episode of his New Heights podcast.
Jason's appearance at the charity golf tournament presented by American Century Investments comes as brother Travis is gearing up for the upcoming NFL pre-season. This football season will be Jason's first since announcing his retirement from the Eagles in March.
"I think up until this point it hasn't been that different for the off-season," Jason shared on Thursday. "It feels weird that guys are getting ready to go to camp and I'm sure once camp has started, once the games have started, it's gonna really set in."
Jason won't be out of the game entirely, as he's signed on to join ESPN's Monday Night Countdown as a sports commentator.
Meanwhile, Jason's wife of six years recently made headlines for an offhand remark she made about possibly having a fourth child in the future. The couple, who wed in April 2018, are the parents of three daughters: 4-year-old Wyatt, 3-year-old Elliotte, and 1-year-old Bennett.
"Kylie has expressed before we started having kids that she wanted a big family," Jason told ET.
"We'll see what the future holds," he continued, adding with a laugh, "Right now we've got our hands full with three of them."
Jason is in good company at the 2024 American Century Championship. He's competing against fellow athletes Trevor Lawrence, Alex Rodriguez, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and more, as well as stars including Colin Jost, Carson Daly and Dylan Dryer. This year's event is to honor former major league pitcher Tim Wakefield and his wife, Stacy, both of whom died of cancer in the last year.
Travis joined Jason in Lake Tahoe later on Thursday, taking the top prize in a karaoke competition for his wild rendition of Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again."
Through fake sobs, Travis lifted the award over his head and dedicated the honor to his girlfriend. "Taylor, this is for you," he said proudly into the microphone.
The brothers' appearance in Lake Tahoe comes amid their hiatus from New Heights.
"We got a nice couple months off from podcasting because, I guess, in three weeks time Travis will be in the middle of training camp," Jason kicked off last week's show. "And let me tell you, not enough time to do a podcast, especially the best podcast in the world. He's gonna be busy focusing on football, getting in shape for this upcoming season. So we're gonna be off for about two months."
Swift is headed to Milan, Italy, for her next set of Eras Tour shows on July 13 and 14, before continuing on to Germany for the remainder of the month.
