Jana Kramer Marries Former Soccer Player Allan Russell

Jana Kramer and Allan Russell tied the knot in a beautiful Scotland ceremony on Saturday.

Jana Kramer and Allan Russell have tied the knot!

The One Tree Hill alum, 40, and Scottish soccer coach, 43, wed on Saturday in a storybook ceremony that included kilts, kids and greenery as far as the eye could see. Kramer shared the exciting news of her nuptials on Instagram Sunday morning, dropping pics with her new hubby from their special day.

"Happily Ever After…. 7.13.2024," the singer and actress captioned her post

For her gown, Kramer opted to wear a strapless, mermaid-style dress with lace embellishments and a corset top. She wore her hair down in loose curls and accessorized with a cathedral-length veil. Meanwhile, her hubby sported a traditional Scottish wedding kilt with a white rose boutonniere.

In the comments, the couple's friends congratulated them on tying the knot and celebrated their future together with complimentary well-wishes.

"Gorgeous!!!!! So happy for your happy!!!" wrote Kramer's OTH co-star, Hilarie Burton.

"Wow! Congratulations beauty," responded The Talk host Amanda Kloots.

"Congratulations beauty! So happy for you!!! ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏😍😍😍," shared Grey's Anatomy alum Sarah Drew.

Ahead of the stunning destination wedding, Kramer posted scenic pictures on Instagram with her family. On Monday, she wrote, "God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you …yes he did," alongside two photos of herself hugging her now-hubby in front of a giant castle surrounded by grass.

Before that, Kramer sweetly posed with her children in front of Bothwell Castle and in the airport, penning, "Let the next chapter in this adventure begin….." Kramer shares daughter Jolie, 8, and son Jace, 5, with her ex-husband, Mike Caussin. She welcomed her third child and first with Russell, Roman, in November 2023.

Kramer and Russell couldn't contain their excitement for their wedding. On a previous episode of Kramer's Whine Down podcast, aptly titled "A Q&A Before the 'I Dos,'" the pair talked about how they had been planning for the big day, from writing their vows to preparing for their first dance.

"For me, it's walking down the aisle to him," Kramer said of the moment she was most excited for. Russell was on the same page and said, "It's not cliché it's just how I feel, but just watching her walking toward me is the piece that I'm looking forward to the most."

It was important to Kramer that she walked down the aisle by herself.

"It's a walk that I need to take by myself. And then that, like, made me start crying. And I was like, it's taken me a long time to get here and I know that this will be the last walk I do alone," she said. "Like me walking to you and that sentiment means something to me."

The couple did not have a first look, so they saw each other for the first time when Kramer walked down the aisle.

Kramer announced the news of Russell's proposal in May 2023. The couple's engagement came just four months after Kramer went Instagram official with her man.

As for the proposal itself, the country singer explained on her Whine Down podcast that she, Russell and her kids took a walk to her new house and he got down on one knee while they were all sitting on the front porch steps. "Jolie just started jumping up and down," she said of her young daughter. "It's like she knew what was happening."

This is the fourth marriage for the mother of three, whose turbulent relationship with former Buffalo Bills football pro Caussin ended in 2021 a month shy of their sixth wedding anniversary. In her April 2021 divorce filing, Kramer accused her ex of "inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery."

Prior to her relationship with Caussin, the actress was engaged to singer Brantley Gilbert before it was called off in 2013. Kramer tied the knot for the first time with her late ex, Michael Gambino, in 2004. However, he was reportedly convicted of attempted murder after he choked her into unconsciousness and was sentenced to six years in prison. According to People, he died by suicide two years after his release.

Kramer was married to actor Johnathon Schaech for just 12 days before they split in 2010.
