'The Bachelorette': Jenn Tran Breaks Down Her Epic Makeout With First Impression Winner Sam M. (Exclusive)

Jenn Tran waited until handing out her First Impression Rose to have her first kiss as the Bachelorette.

Jenn Tran didn't want to give her first kiss as the Bachelorette to just any guy.

Following the season 21 premiere of The Bachelorette, ET spoke to the leading lady, who broke down her self-described "feral" makeout session with Sam M., her First Impression Rose winner.

"I've seen the show before. I know how these smooches happen on night one. I just knew I couldn't do that because I'm not someone who just kisses everybody the first time that they meet them," Jenn told ET. "I need a little bit more before I get to that level. For me, a first kiss is so intimate, so I knew I wasn't going to be kissing everybody."

While Jenn said she "didn't set a limit" for how many guys she would kiss on night one, it was an easy choice to make Sam M. her one and only.

"It was whoever I felt comfortable with, whoever I wanted to," she said. "With Sam, I just felt so comfortable so quickly and so that's why he got the First Impression Rose and then it just kind of felt right in the moment."

As for if she realized how long their makeout session lasted, Jenn quipped, "To me it felt like two seconds."

That epic kiss is far from the only steamy moment of the season, much to Jenn's mom's dismay.

"I'm nervous for her to watch all the makeout sessions. That's not something she's seen before... She's really going to be seeing all of the makeout sessions, there's a hot tub, etcetera," Jenn admitted. "I'm just going to tell her not to watch Fantasy Suite week. The show's off for that week. We're done."

In between all of the hot and heavy moments, Jenn will develop feelings for many of her suitors. When it comes to the night one standouts, Jenn described Marcus as "so genuine," noted that "the vibes were vibing" with Aaron, admitted to being impressed by Jonathan's medical grown entrance, and praised Devin's "goofy energy."

Someone else who had big opinions on Jenn's premiere was her celebrity crush, Ryan Reynolds. The actor, who teamed up with Hugh Jackman for a Bachelorette-themed Deadpool promo, broke down the episode on Instagram.

"Thought Jenn made some strong choices, except for sending my countryman Brendan packing," he wrote. "Marcus is easy on the eyes, Grant was a little much and the day trading thing, but I get it. Two Sams will get confusing so slightly leaning towards Sam N. Jenn’s mom might have been the highlight and Melbourne, Australia, felt like a Hugh shout out so bit of a lowlight there. Overall, great start."

"Ryan Reynolds is my celebrity crush, and Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are my couple goals, so I was so excited to see Ryan Reynolds actually watch the show and then write a whole caption about what he thought of my decisions. I liked that he is now a fan of my mom. He's my mom's biggest fan, apparently. I don't know if she knows who Ryan Reynolds is.

While the reaction to Jenn's premiere has been largely positive, the physician's assistant student has been candid about racist messages she's received online, including one that said that they wanted a woman with "white skin and blonde hair" to lead the series.

"I would just urge them to continue to keep their minds open and their hearts open to something that's different than themselves," Jenn said. "When I get comments like this and messages that are rooted in racism, I try to understand where it's coming from. Most of the time, I don't understand it, so all I'm hoping is that me being in this role and kind of taking on these comments one at a time, I just hope that it really opens up people's hearts to something that's different from themselves."

The love has also been pouring in, as many in Bachelor Nation celebrated the portrayal of Jenn's Vietnamese culture.

"The reaction so far has been so amazing to that first episode, seeing Vietnamese food and my mom speaking Vietnamese, that I'm so excited for them to know about my culture and especially see more of my family on screen later in the season," Jenn told ET. "Throughout the season itself, I talk so much about race and culture and what it means to me, because those are important things to me when dating somebody. I'm so excited for people to get to know me and those aspects of me."

As she adjusts to her new role, Jenn admitted that it hasn't "fully sunk in yet that my entire life is kind of out there now and people are gonna watch this journey unfold and it's not just me and my friends watching."

"I am feeling so much support from everybody, so I honestly just feel really grateful and really supported right now," she said. "I'm really happy."

The Bachelorette airs Mondays on ABC.
