Jon Gosselin also told ET if he wants a reality show.
Jon and Hannah Gosselin are giving an update on their wellness journey! In an interview with ET's Rachel Smith, the father-daughter duo revealed they've lost more than 75 combined pounds since committing to lifestyle changes in February.
Jon, 47, has shed more than 50 pounds, while his 20-year-old daughter has lost 25.
"I feel great," Hannah told ET. "I'm really happy."
As for how they did it, Jon and Hannah teamed up with Dan Holtz's Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center, where they got on a base semaglutide. For Jon's part, he also underwent several CellSound treatments and started treating his low testosterone. On top of that, both Jon and Hannah committed to working out every day and eating properly.
The father-daughter pair's diet is now high-protein and consists of protein shakes, bars, fiber, lean meats and fish. They've also decided to eat much less pasta, limit their soda intake and avoid fast food.
"It'll be a short-term plan that'll help us get to where we want to be," Holtz told ET back in February of his plan for the Gosselins. "Once we get to our goal then it's really going to be teaching Jon the lifestyle and how to maintain healthier lifestyle choices."
The results, Hannah said, speaks for themselves.
"When I put on my pair of shorts that I wore two years ago I danced around my room. I was so happy. It was the best feeling ever," she said. "... You probably would not have caught me in a swimsuit last summer. I don't even think I went to the beach. I have been spending my whole summer at the pool, at the beach, out with my friends. It really is a confidence booster to know that you look in the mirror and you're happy with the way that you look."
Jon agreed, telling ET, "I think confidence level. I work out at the beach and sometimes I don't wear a shirt because it's 100 degrees outside now. Before I would just sweat through it, now [I take it off]. I have these things called abs. They just appeared."
Now that they're both happy with their results, Jon and Hannah are "weaning ourselves off of [the semaglutide] and actively changing our lives," the latter said.
Throughout their journey, both Gosselins had the support of their partners, Jon's girlfriend, Stephanie Lebo, and Hannah's boyfriend, Lennon Johnson. While Hannah got in her workouts by going to the gym with Lennon or taking his dog on walks, Jon's physical transformation made him consider taking the next step with his longtime girlfriend.
"I'm really comfortable right now and now I have my routine," Jon said. "... I've been ready for a long time, I just want it very perfect and things to be in place... I've just never been in a relationship that was so easy."
Given that, Jon said he'd be game to team up with Stephanie for a reality show, though she may only be available to pop up on it from time to time.
"I think she would be a part-timer. She's definitely integrated, but filming a full show is a lot," the Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum said. "I mean, we did it for years, so you know how much time is takes. And then two people work full-time jobs and figuring out that schedule [is a challenge]."
As for what a potential show would follow, Jon speculated, "I don't have kids at home anymore. I have a very interesting career. I haven't filmed a reality show since 2009, and you're still interviewing me, so there is some kind of interest."
"We thought about self-producing it on YouTube or something like that. I think if we [would want to have] editorial control... [so we could decide] what we would want to show publicly and still maintain our privacy," he said. "We don't really have privacy now, so it's like, what's the difference? If we're gonna do these interviews or film our own show and then do more interviews and do other things, we might as well monetize it more and reap the benefit. You can't quit being famous. It doesn't work."
