With Season 22 of 'DWTS' about to kick off, take a look back at the star who made season 21 the best so far.
The 22nd season of Dancing With the Stars kicks off on Monday night with a whole new crop of competitors looking to take home the coveted mirror ball trophy.
While we're excited to see what celebs like Jodie Sweetin, Mischa Barton, Geraldo Rivera and Von Miller bring to the dance floor (not to mention the long-awaited return of Len Goodman to the judges' panel), there's a little bit of our heart that will always belong to season 21 winner Bindi Irwin.
The 17-year-old nature conservationist took viewers on a sometimes emotional, but always exhilarating thrill ride during her time on the show. From her dedication to learning the art of dance to her unwavering desire to make her late father proud, Bindi brought the ABC hit series to new heights.
So, in preparation for this new season of DWTS, let's take a look back at some of Bindi's very best moments from last season.
1. Bindi Comes Out Swinging
From the very first episode, we all sort of knew that Bindi would be going home with the mirror ball trophy. Bindi and her pro partner, Derek Hough, dazzled the judges with a jaw-dropping jive that left the pair tied for the highest score of the night.
2. Bindi Rocks Out
Bindi and Derek walked on the wild side with this hard-rocking tango set to the AC/DC classic, "You Shook Me All Night Long." The powerhouse performance earned them the night's highest score yet again.

3. Bindi Goes Retro
Bindi and Derek celebrated the ‘70s with this impressive quickstep set to the theme song from The Jeffersons. It was a thoroughly appropriate music choice as Bindi and Derek were indeed "Movin' On Up."
4. Bindi Takes Our Breath Away
One of the most moving things about Bindi's time on DWTS was her love and devotion to her late father, Steve Irwin, who died when she was only eight years old. So, during this pre-roll package, when Bindi got teary-eyed talking about her dad, we couldn't help but get a bit misty as well.
After bringing the audience to the verge of tears, Bindi and Derek's beautiful contemporary dance (set to "Every Breath You Take" and dedicated to Steve's memory), pushed everyone, including the judges, over the edge and into full-on weeping mode.
We'll understand if you need to step away for a moment to grab a tissue.
5. Bindi Brings the Sunshine and Smiles
Switching up partners can't be easy, but Bindi and DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy pulled off this fun-loving cha cha with artful mastery. As Val's brother (and guest judge) Maks said, "It was the dance of the night."
6. Bindi and Derek's Epic Lift
Remember that time Derek and Bindi recreated the iconic lift from Dirty Dancing, blowing everyone's mind? Of course you do. Everybody does. But here's a chance to watch it again, because why not? For most fans, it was clear Bindi was on the fast track to victory after this stunning routine.
