How Tom Brady Feels About Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente's Relationship as It Gets 'More Serious': Source

A source tells ET that Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente's relationship is getting 'more serious.' Find out how Tom Brady feels.

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are going strong. A source tells ET that the couple -- who was first romantically linked in February -- has been "getting more serious" in recent weeks.

"Her friends could see this being a lasting relationship," the source says of the 44-year-old model, who split from Tom Brady in October 2022.

As for how her ex -- with whom she shares Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11 -- feels about the romance, the source says that "Tom just wants things to be cordial and respectful between him and Joaquim."

"He's enjoying his own life and dating around," the source adds of the 47-year-old retired NFL star.

A separate source told ET in February that Bündchen and Valente's relationship had turned romantic.

"Gisele trusts Joaquim because they had a solid foundation before things turned romantic," the source said of the mom of two and her former jiu-jitsu instructor. "He has been there for her as she transitions through this new phase of life post-divorce and it’s been a really nice change for her."

The source noted that Bündchen and Valente "have a lot of fun together," adding that they "connect on a deep level and are both into wellness, being active, and traveling."

Bündchen went on to deny that she cheated on Brady with Valente. Shortly thereafter, Bündchen was less than amused by the jokes that were made about her new relationship during Brady's Netflix roast in May.

"Gisele was upset and hurt by some of the jokes about her, her relationship with [boyfriend] Joaquim [Valente], and her marriage to Tom during his roast," a source told ET at the time. "Her main concern is always her children and family and she wants to protect them. She found some of the jokes to be distasteful and disrespectful."

In the wake of those emotions, a source told ET that "Joaquim has been there for Gisele and they have a nice, supportive relationship."

"Gisele is still taking things one day at a time and is protective of herself and her well-being, and more importantly, her kids' well-being," the source said. "She is trying to be thoughtful when navigating next steps and is continuing to appreciate the loving relationship in front of her."

The duo was then spotted displaying PDA in June, which marked their first sighting in months.
