The 81st Golden Globe Awards are happening tonight — here's how you can tune in.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards are kicking off the 2024 awards season tonight. Notable nominees include films Barbie and Oppenheimer and actors Natalie Portman, Margot Robbie, Ali Wong, Timothée Chalamet, Joaquin Phoenix and Charles Melton. With this level of talent in competition, the 2024 Golden Globes ceremony will surely be one to watch.

This year, the Golden Globes will air on CBS and stream live via Paramount+ with Showtime. Those with other Paramount+ plans can watch the Golden Globes the following day, on January 8.

Comedian Jo Koy will host the 2024 Golden Globes Awards ceremony. Cedric the Entertainer and Wilmer Valderrama revealed the nominees on CBS Mornings in early December.

Notable film nominees this year include Killers of the Flower MoonBarbie, Maestro, Oppenheimer, May December and Poor Things. On the TV side, Jury Duty, Lessons in Chemistry, Ted Lasso and Succession received nominations.

When are the 2024 Golden Globes? 

The Golden Globes will mark the official start of this year’s awards season on Sunday, January 7, 2024. The ceremony airs live on CBS and Paramount+ starting at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.

Who is presenting at the 81st Golden Globe Awards?

No celebrities have officially been announced as presenters at this year’s awards show. Last year big stars presented awards, including Ana de Armas, Billy Porter, Colman Domingo, Jamie Lee Curtis, Natasha Lyonne, and Tracy Morgan.
